When men yield up the privilege of thinking,
the last shadow of liberty quits the horizon.

  1. can someone explain this one to me - I just don't seem to grasp its meaning

  2. A teabagger is shown in the role of Norman Bates. It was Bates, a psychopath, who murdered Marion Crane in the shower scene of "Psycho" (1960). Crane is depicted here as Lady Liberty. Thus: certainly says something about the role of teabaggers in relationship with the nature of liberty in the United States. No one has to necessarily agree with this view (in Clay Bennett's cartoon), but I find this political statement utterly compelling and utterly true -- unfortunate though the truth may be about the state of politics in this nation.

  3. Great posting, Slabber!
