You have to pay attention

First weigh the considerations, then take the risks.

  1. I appreciate this posting very much. The occlusion, for one reason or another, of the eyes is quite fitting, and the headlong advance in the first frame embodies what Moltke was most aware of -- 'no strategy survives its first contact with the enemy's full strength'. I think of the tragedy of our nation's sacrifice to endless wars strategised by intractable ideology (most recently, those of Wolfowitz's neo-Conservatism) as relying upon a scales utterly corrupted by a self-serving hand, and catastrophically alienated from improvisation; and I'm not a kid to be kidded, anymore. I look upon these guys as the responsibility of this nation to protect, not to waste, and last of all by posing as a military genius contrary to the epitome of what it is, and what its limits are.
