    He epitomises the fall of man, in my book -- I jest, but he does frame a question which at least persists: Why do unimpeachably beautiful men permit themselves to be travestied in vainglorious bodybuilding? Look at Gould I and Gould II; it would take his mother to know them both.

    The only answer I've been able to come up with, consistent with continuing to suck the same cock, is that males indulge not merely a Gresham's Law of beauty to their detriment, but epochal shifts in how they can bear to see themselves in a mirror with others. I'd rather not think about it, until the pendulum is righted.
